The CN Tower, high-rise buildings and Roy Thompson Hall all make an appearance in this winner's mirrored photo, yet it is St Andrew's Church that stands out for him. "I like to walk around, take in the city, the vibe," he says. However, while he was homeless off and on in the past, "I went to the church's Out of the Cold program and even when it's not cold they're preparing for it."
This 50-year-old man, born and raised in Toronto, was a first-time participant. He enjoyed the photography so much that he complained he would have liked "a little bit more light" when he took this picture. "I'm considering getting a better camera."
This year's July Calendar Winner, who has a kind demeanour, sees downtown buildings and construction as providing housing for our "caring and sharing city" and named his photo "A Reflection of Toronto."
