Daniel Warr
Hope Garden for Family
The Stop Community Food Centre
Though there are no actual people in this photograph of a tricycle tied to a pole, Daniel Warr says he hopes his photograph represents youth and community.
“Sometimes we forget how youthful we can be and how important life is when we’re looking at youngsters. It [the photo] identifies with just keeping life simple and sweet sometimes. It brings happiness and a smile to my face when I look at that picture.”
Daniel’s zest for the little things in life is contagious. He describes his life as blessed, with a great appreciation for family, spirituality and nature. He finds this connection encompassed in his frequent visits to The Stop Community Food Centre which has a garden, where he often sees the child-sized bicycle.
