Taking a photo of one of Toronto's oldest strip clubs reminded Duke Halliday of all the times that he had been there. He knows most of the staff, including the women who work there: "Never had a bad time at Zanzibar's, always good."
The idea to take the photo came to Duke while he was sitting outside Pizza Pizza. He saw a perfect angle of the sign and decided to share its significance with others. Zanzibar is a staple in Duke’s life, as he has known the venue since he was 15 years old. He hopes to eventually work there once he gets his Smart Serve license.
A self-described animal lover, music listener, bike rider, and tattoo fan from downtown Toronto, Duke has two cats that he cares for named Suicide (aka Sweetie) and Patch.
